About the Artist: After spending
18 years as a truck driver, Steve decided he wanted to explore his creative side and the possibility of becoming a faux artist. In
the spring of 2000 he went to Las Vegas to study with Bev Daitch and Barth White. Both are among the top artists
in the industry. Barth and his crew have produced
faux finishes for most of the Las Vegas hotels including the Bellagio, Venetian, and Mirage. Steve has also studied marbling and wood-graining with
world-renowned artist Mike MacNeil. Since then, he has been commissioned to produce finishes for homes in Ohio, Kentucky,
Arizona and New Mexico; specializing in doors, cabinets, countertops, fireplaces
and furniture. The few
photos that are shown on this website do not represent the full extent of his work. Many custom finishes are available. Call
